Admissions – Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University
The Institute of Medicine (IOM), under Tribhuvan University, offers admissions for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in health sciences. All admissions are conducted in accordance with the Medical Education Commission (MEC) guidelines and IOM notices.

Eligibility

- Postgraduate: Relevant bachelor’s degree with internship completion and registration at Nepal Medical Council or equivalent professional council.
- Foreign Applicants: Valid NEET-UG (for Indian students) or MEC entrance exam qualification.
Admission Process
- Check eligibility criteria for the chosen program.
- Apply online through the official IOM/MEC portal and upload required documents in PDF format.
- Appear for the MEC Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
- Participate in the matching/seat allocation process as per published schedules.
- Verify documents in person at IOM with originals.

- Commence classes as per academic calendar (generally September/October intake).
